MINNEAPOLIS, MN (Oct. 17, 2013) - Minnesota Vikings' All-Pro Linebacker Chad Greenway and 16 of his teammates welcomed nearly 200 guests to his Third Annual Celebrity Waiter Night at Manny's Steakhouse on Monday.

Teammates Jared Allen, Audie Cole, Rhett Ellison, Fred Evans, Toby Gerhart, Erin Henderson, Matt Kalil, Cullen Loeffler, Michael Mauti, Marvin Mitchell, Kyle Rudolph, Andrew Sendejo, Kevin Williams and former Vikings Steve Hutchinson and Ben Leber joined Head Athletic Trainer Eric Sugarman all to rally behind Greenway to support his Lead The Way Foundation.

The Vikings donned aprons to help serve appetizers and top off drinks while mingling with guests. Funds were also raised through a thrilling silent and live auction following dinner.

"We are given a great opportunity to reach a lot of people through the NFL," said Greenway. "We're trying to use it the best we can to help as many people as possible."

The third annual Celebrity Waiter Night raised almost $200,000 for the foundation.

Proceeds from fundraisers like Celebrity Waiter Night help Greenway's Lead the Way Foundation fulfill its mission to enrich the lives of individuals and families in the Greater Twin Cities.

They did just that Tuesday, when Greenway and wife, Jenni, launched Chad's Locker at its fourth location: the St. Paul Campus of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Funds for the locker were raised in July at the Annual Bohannon Group Foundation Charity Golf Fundraiser that directly benefits the Lead the Way Foundation.

Chad's Locker provides patients and families access to technology as a means for relaxation and communication. The locker includes kid-friendly laptop computers, video gaming systems and iPads. These games are a welcome distraction for pediatric patients to help occupy their time during their hospital or specialty clinic visits. The locker provides a welcome outlet for thousands of patients and families each month.

Combined, this locker and its counterpart at the Minneapolis Campus of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota will be available to 128,000 patients and their families each year.
