FLORENCE, Ky. - “People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defenses, or the problems of modern society...” – VINCE LOMBARDI

Draft day is when dreams come true for young men who have spent most of their lives doing their best to reach the ultimate end zone: the NFL. Once they do, there is often a lot of money in play. Big-time athletes often seek advice on how to give back in a big way.

Enter Prolanthropy, a Northern Kentucky company that helps NFL players and other pros figure out how to navigate the world of philanthropy. Founded in 2009, the company specializes in the setting up and managing non-profit foundations for players with a lot of money to spend.

"Our goal from the start was very qualitative, not quantitative. Really to help as many people as possible by leveraging celebrities,” said Jeff Ginn, Prolanthropy Founder and Northern Kentucky native. “And for me--being a fan of sports my entire life--to me, 'celebrity' meant professional athlete."

The firm's Florence location is intentional. As a Northern Kentucky native and small business owner, Ginn thought it was important to keep the company local.
